About

Johana Bedolla is an Energy Engineer at the Energy Resources Center (ERC)--an interdisciplinary public service, research, and special projects organization that works to advance energy sustainability and improve the environment, based out of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago. In her role, Johana leads high school workforce development initiatives through the STEM Scholars program, offering free after-school programming and paid summer internships for marginalized students. She also drafts technical case studies for the U.S. Department of Energy Onsite Energy Central and Midwest Regions Technical Assistance Partnership (Onsite Energy TAP) and supports the Monarch Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances under the Sustainable Landscape Program. Additionally, she has contributed to the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Combined Heat and Power Feasibility Study and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Renew America’s Schools program.
